HiVE is the successor of Larry's first arcade emulator Cage and runs on Win9x/NT with DirectX! It supports save/ load of gamestates and has got a GUI. HiVE's aim is to be the fastest arcade game emulator (should run most games with full speed on a 486/66!) so be sure to compare it to Retrocade :-) The latest version (v1.04) adds these games: Arkanoid, Scramble, Amidar, Pooyan, Frogger, Time Pilot, and Metro Cross! The following games have been tested and work correctly: Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Astro Invader, Bandido, Crush Roller, Defender, DigDug, Dig Dug2, Galaxian, Galaga, Galaga 3, Galaxy Wars, Gaplus, Grobda, Invaders Revenge, Joust, Jr. PacMan, Lunar Rescue, Mappy, Moon Cresta, Motos, Ms. Pac-Man, New RallyX, Pac-Man, Pac N Pal, Pengo, Phozon, Qix, Qix 2, RallyX, Robotron, Sky Kid, Space Invaders, Space Invaders Part II, Splat, Stargate, Super Breakout, Super Pac-Man, Super Xevious, Targ, Tower of Druaga, Xevious and Zoo Keeper. The following games work, but have no sound: Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. and Mario Bros. The following games work, but have emulation defects (video or sound): Mario Bros. and Motos. The following games do not have correct colors: Astro Invader, Bandido, Invader's Revenge and Lunar Rescue. The following games do not play correctly: Avalanche, Bubbles, Colony 7, Galaga88, Joust, Missile Command, PacLand and Sinistar.
